Religious statuary is positively everywhere in Louisiana. It’s a striking difference certainly from the Northwestern United States (Ordinary Beings HQ), which has the fewest number of church-goers in the nation. (And therefore likely the fewest number of saintly statues.) But here, even the ones set alongside a busy thoroughfare seem to carry a quiet grace.
